On Saturday, July 1, J'da Symone Gadson, 7 year old student at West Education Campus died in a pool accident while with her family. J'da was one of the sweetest children in our second grade class.  She loved to learn and was a tremendously hard worker.  J'da had her own sense of style and came to school each day with a bright smile.  She will be truly missed by her classmates, teachers and West family.  Mother Shawnice Winslow and her three children are having a difficult time coping with the loss.  The school community would like to support through helping with counseling services, memorial costs and additional family expenses.
