I got long covid and since October 2023 I've been bed-bound. I'm seeing a specialist doctor since April, but medical insurance doesn't cover long covid treatments, so treatment is almost entirely out of pocket.

I've already had significant progress from SGB treatment, and hope to do more in the future. From January through May, I was in a dark room with blackout curtains, earplugs, and noise-canceling headphones. Thanks to SGB, at the moment I write this, I am looking at a tree wave in the breeze in the evening light through the window. And I don't get startled and sick from hearing small sounds anymore.

I'm trying lots of different meds, and they have the potential to make a big difference, but I will probably need some outpatient procedures like plasmapheresis and IVIG, and those are very expensive and, like the SGB, not covered by medical insurance.
