Dear Friends,
As you are aware, we lost our precious daughter Kirsten Hopkin unexpectedly on December 24th. Kirsten was a loving daughter, sister, grand-daughter, girlfriend, and good friend to so many. Kirsten had always been a gentle, caring soul. Her life passion was to help others, and had chosen a career in nursing so that she could provide care and comfort to those that needed it the most. Kirsten was so near to completing her nursing school and becoming an RN before her tragic passing.
In her final act of kindness and compassion, she gave of herself so many vital organs so that others may continue with their lives. This gives her friends and family great comfort knowing that her passing is not in vain. While we are saddened by her loss, we are grateful for the gift she was able to give.
Kirsten, we love you so much. We will miss you each and every day, and will never forget you or the joy and happiness you brought to us during your all too short of time here on Earth. When our time comes, we look forward to being reunited with you again for eternity.
Many of you have asked what can you do to help. This event was sudden and unexpected. We were not well prepared for any of this, emotionally or otherwise.
We would like to take as much time as necessary to heal, and a donation from you will allow us to take some additional time to spend with family, and to help us cover final expenses.
