Just last week, her life partner of 14 years experienced a tragic psychiatric break, and due to the incompetence involving the police and hospitals, he tragically took his own life.
In the wake of this devastating loss, we have uncovered the extent of his financial hardships. Despite being entrusted with managing the household finances, it appears that he had fallen behind on numerous bills, leaving us grappling with an overwhelming situation. The mortgage payments have lapsed for months, and we have received alarming notices, including the impending repossession of their car this month. The electricity was on the brink of being disconnected as of yesterday.
Compounding this hardship, Lisa, my friend, is disabled and now finds herself not only dealing with the emotional whirlwind of grief but also the daunting task of navigating the financial complexities that have arisen.
