My dad, JD Gordon, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (brain cancer). He just had surgery to remove the lemon size tumor, but the diagnosis is not good. He served for 38 years in the Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army National Guard.

He wouldn’t consider himself a hero—but he could. He wouldn’t even boast about how many tours he has served or the 38 years he served abroad. He won’t tell you what he sacrificed for those patches, coins, and stripes he earned. He won’t tell you how hard it was to leave three little girls and a wife all crying—begging him not to leave at the gates for each deployment. He won’t tell you what it’s like to hear bomb sirens or live gun fire. He won’t tell you how many men didn’t make it back home. He has never been the one to ever ask for a hand-out, and he never would… but I will ask for him… my father, my hero, my heart ❤️ my family desperately needs it… As you can tell, money is very tight with medical bills and neither of my parents being able to work right now. My dad has done so much for his country, his community, and his family. But he would never allow me to ask for help “just for him”. If you could help, my family would truly appreciate it. And I know my father… my hero, my heart, would thank you for your gracious help…
