On Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 Jerry Don Conner passed away in Flower Mound, Texas. JD was a beloved husband, father and friend.
JD married Amber Mosher Conner on July 25, 2009 and lived in Flower Mound, Texas. He will be dearly missed by his four children Lindsay Conner-Swatsell, Jacob Conner, Landon Conner and Layney Conner.
JD had a passion for people, and showed this time and again as he made friends everywhere he went. He had a gentle, welcoming personality that made each and every person he met feel a part of the family. People enjoyed being a part of that family because of his upbeat personality, but also because they knew he’d would eventually invite them over for dinner to try some of his famous steak. JD was an accomplished athlete all throughout his life excelling in baseball, softball, golf, and bowling. JD was beloved on every team he was apart of, not only because of his immense talent, but also due to his sense of humor and the joy he brought to those around him. JD utilized his love for people in his near 20 years working for Subfloor Systems in Dallas, TX. JD poured out his love to his children and wife Amber in extravagant ways. He loved not only providing for his family but also doting on his Wife, Amber, and his children. No expense was spared as he always tried to give generously and richly to those he loved. He was a wonderful gift giver, and yet the greatest gift he gave was his “Daddy Lion” sized heart. He will be remembered fondly for his infectious laugh and his contagious smile that would light up any room he entered.
He is survived by his wife, Amber, children Layney, Landon, Jacob and Lindsay, and grandsons, Wyatt and Winston, as well as, so many family and friends that loved him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the JD Memorial Fund. These funds will be used to purchase a memorial bench in honor of JD Conner. Additional funds will be used to offset the funeral cost of this unexpected loss. Please consider joining the effort to support JD’s family as they walk through this difficult season.
