Beckas battle with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma
Rebecca is a 34 year old single mom and sole provider to her amazing 10 year old daughter. While the world was bracing themselves and preparing to shut down for the pandemic, Becka was given devastating news that the swelling she noticed in her neck was Hodgkins Lymphoma. After further testing she was told the cancer was in her neck and spread to her chest and her spleen. She was immediately rushed in for a chest port placement, started on chemotherapy as well as receiving bone marrow biopsies and and bone marrow immune shots every 2 weeks. Becka is a fighter and one of the strongest women I know. She has a free spirit and is the most fun and loving mom. Becka does not have much family and moved to another state to give her daughter a better life. I am hoping to raise enough money to somewhat ease the financial burden she is experiencing so she does not feel the need to rush back to work so she can heal and fight this cancer so Kacey will not be without a mom. Thank you.
