Help for Hannah

Please consider joining us in our efforts of supporting Hannah Gladden and her girls during this difficult time of her recovery.
The past few days have been some of the most challenging that Hannah has faced. After suffering for days with the inability to breathe Hannah went to prompt care. From there she was urgently directed to the emergency room. After hours of testing the information presented to Hannah became increasingly terrifying. She was told her oxygen level was critically low, her heart was enlarged and fluid was built up around her lungs creating a drowning sensation when she would lie down. Even more alarming, her heart functionality was found to be life threatening, at 15%.
The severity of her situation was presented to her the next morning when she was told she wouldn’t have survived the weekend had she not sought care when she did. She was experiencing heart failure at 31 years of age.
We collectively prayed for healing, for answers to be found, and for the gift of Hannah driving us crazy and making us laugh with her outrageous personality.
Sunday morning a heart catheter procedure took place and determined the damage was caused by a virus. This is the best possible outcome for Hannah as it means her diagnosis, Myocarditis, will be treated and managed going forward with medications. While this is a tremendous relief after the rollercoaster of the weekend’s events, there is still a long road to recovery for her. She remains in the hospital on oxygen until she regains the strength to continue rehabilitation at home. We are hoping to lighten the burden Hannah will be facing in the coming weeks, at least financially, as we seek to raise funds to cover her family’s bills and expenses while she is out of work.
It is our hope that those of us who know and love Hannah can come together to support her through this challenging time.
With thanks and love,
Hannah’s family ❤️
