Hi my name is Chris Turck and I'm fund raising for Jean Hernandez aka JC.

I co-own Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co. which is a tattoo shop concept founded by legendary motocross athlete, Carey Hart. We have locations in Las Vegas, Orlando, Nashville and Niagara Falls.

I met JC in 2007 when we opened our Orlando location at Universal CityWalk. JC was one of the original tattoo artists that we hired and is still a very important part of our success. He is at the core of our H&H family. JC has touched thousands of lives through countless customer experiences, memorable moments, healing, pep talks, friendships and love. JC is first and foremost a father, a brother, a son, a friend, an artist and all around loving human. He has a relentless work ethic and will do anything for just about anybody. We love and appreciate him so much!

In November 2023, at the young age of 47, JC had a severe stroke that nearly killed him. Miraculously he is starting to recover and making huge strides. We are so blessed to have JC in our lives. JC is strong, with the heart of a lion and the will to fight his way back to health. We can't wait to have him back in the shop, doing what he loves doing, creating beautiful tattoos and making clients happy.

JC is also a very proud man. A value we all admire.

However everyone needs a friend to extend a hand and lift them out of a tough spot, at a time when it really counts. Urgent needs are funding for health insurances, other medical needs such as physical therapy and basic living expenses.

I started this fundraiser to open up an opportunity for all to extend a hand to JC and to show him that he is surrounded by a loving and supportive community of people.
