Hi everyone!
Huge and exciting news I really can't wait to share with you all! I have been selected as an Official State Finalist for the 2017 Miss New York USA pageant! This is the first step of a very exciting journey.
I'm honestly super suprised that I was chosen! I'm very excited to participate because this pageant highlights the importance of having a platform that allows my voice to be heard and raise awareness to a lot of causes that I care about. With this title and position, I hope to inspire women to be confidently beautiful and selfless. I hope to work with different charities and organizations (seriously, my heart is everywhere I want to help in so many things) and do what I can to spread the word.
Participating in this pageant requires a sponsporship fee of $1495. Each contestant has a wadrobe to prepare (interview/swimsuit/evening gown,etc) and countless small, exciting details to compete. The sponsorship fee pays for the expenses during pageant weekend, gifts and prizes for Miss New York USA finalists, semi-finalists, and contestants, production of a beautiful stage presentation, and round-trip airfare, wardrobe, and other expenses for the winner's (hopefully, me hehe) to the host city of the Miss USA pageant.
While I'll be still asking local businesses for sponsorship, I wanted to reach out to my friends and family as well for ANY support! Even if you are not able to donate financially- prayers, good vibes, and just sharing and following me on my journey will help me in so many ways!
I'm incredibly fortunate to embark on this journey and I hope you all will stick around and support along the way!
