Please help us raise funds to cover medical and funeral expenses for Michael and Katie Petry, as they mourn the loss of their baby girl.
From the heart of Katie:
Our sweet beautiful baby girl, Coraline Elizabeth Petry, was born on January 2, 2016 at 2:44 PM. She weighed 2 lbs 6.6 oz and was 15 inches long. When she came into this world, she was already in the arms of our Savior Jesus. This great loss was so very sudden and has truly been the hardest time of our lives. But God has not forsaken us. We are so thankful for all the joy she brought to our lives these last many months and we cherish that we were able to hold and love our baby girl for what hours we had. She was so very loved and will be deeply loved forever.
Katie gave birth at 35 weeks to their daughter, Coraline Elizabeth Petry. Due to the unforeseen circumstances of her birth, the medical costs are greater than Katie and Michael had originally planned. This financial burden comes at a difficult time. With Michael in his final semester of school, they have accumulated significant student loans. Katie had already left her job in order to stay home and care for her baby.
Please continue to pray that the God of mercy will meet, sustain, and comfort Katie and Michael as they grieve the loss of their baby. We trust that the very real sorrow and grief that we all share will be overshadowed by the truth of God’s infinite wisdom, sovereignty, and love that we know through Jesus Christ.
