HELP FAMILY REBUILD - House Fire family of six

On the evening of May 23rd, my brother and his family lost their home and everything inside to a fire. Just as their daughter returned home from college for summer break and their three youngest were preparing for a busy summer full of summer camp activities, they now have to face not having a roof over their head or a pillow to sleep on.

While we are grateful, he, his wife, their four kids, and their pets made it out alive, they had to keep one another as the priority in getting out of the house, not allowing for time to collect much of their belongings. Instead of celebrating summer, they now will start from scratch on trying to rebuild their life with the basic necessities.

My brother and his wife have been extremely active members of their community - volunteering their time and energy for 20+ years, whether it is serving as an assistant pastor to local churches, leading small group gatherings, or serving as a coach for their kids’ sports. When they aren’t in the church or on the field/court, my brother is busy growing his merchandise and print shop businesses, alongside his wife who also has a start-up cosmetic line. Two entrepreneurs working hard to be an example to their children of business owners and community members.

With their faith, I know they will stay strong, but I am hoping communities of strangers can give them the support they need to affirm their belief that they can and will get back on their feet.
