It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to stand in the place that once held so much love and see only ruins. But even through the heartbreak, we’re grateful to be alive. We have each other, and that gives us the strength to believe we can rebuild.

Right now, we’re staying with family while we try to figure out what’s next. We’re starting over completely — from finding new clothes and food to eventually repairing or rebuilding our home.
