It is with a very heavy heart that I am asking for help for a dear friend of mine who has suffered the unexpected and tragic loss of her husband, Scott. Last week, Scott had a very simple trip and fall in which he scraped his elbow. He didn’t think much of it until a few days later when the pain far outweighed what is expected for a minor scrape. This led him to the hospital where they diagnosed him with a serious bacterial infection that destroys the tissue under the skin. Two, days later, Scott lost his life. This is a shock that no one could have foreseen, especially his wife, Tracey, and his daughter, Brandy.

Scott was a respiratory therapist who dedicated many years of his life to saving patients. In recent years, he was the proud owner of a barista in a small town, where he enjoyed creating fresh meals and great coffee!
