Transitioning is a Family Affair

There are many ways to honor a woman whose life was light, bubbles and the stage. 

But transitioning is a family affair.

During this time of loss, while we grieve and celebrate the life of Dumeha Vernice Thompson, there are aspects of her life left behind that need to be addressed in order to maintain safe space for those closest to her. We as a community can help ease this financial burden so they too are allowed to honor Dumeha without stress or distraction.

We are asking Dumeha's beautiful, loving and generous community of family, friends, thespians, dancers, educators, spiritual and cultural workers and those she impacted by her radiant light to help raise money to address immediate monetary responsibilities.

Transitioning is truly a community affair.

That being said, we need to raise $5000 by June 30thto ensure the security of Dumeha's family and close friends. Please donate what feels good to not only support Dumeha's memory, but those who loved and cared for her through her journey with health. 

By giving to his noble cause you will not only support her family, but we hope it will also aid in your own healing process during this time as we remember and celebrate our loving Dobi.
