In Honor of Taryn Willett And Her Loving Family

On July 7th, 2019, The Willett Family suffered a terrible tragedy. When Taryn’s dad went in to wake her up, he discovered her lifeless body in her bedroom. They immediately performed CPR and first responders were able to get her heart beating. She was rushed to the hospital and was hooked up to all of the machines to help her stay alive.
Test results showed that Taryn suffered a brain hemorrhage due to a condition called AVM. There were no signs leading up to this horrible day, something that could not have been prevented. Usually the first sign of this condition is a hemorrhage.
Taryn was pronounced brain dead on July 11th, 2019 at the young age of 14. She leaves behind a 13 year old sister, 2 loving parents, devoted grandparents and many grieving family members and friends. Her family and friends are devastated. Taryn was a sweet, fun, smart and talented young artist who was taken from us so suddenly and way too soon. While going through this horrific tragedy, her parents made the incredibly brave and unselfish decision to donate Taryn’s organs. She now has the opportunity to save eight lives.
This family has been through so much over the years and has had more than their fair share of loss and tragedies. Taryn’s dad is still recovering from a serious infection that had him in the hospital until recently. We hope that this GoFundMe campaign can help take some of the financial burden off of the family so that they can begin the healing process and focus on celebrating this beautiful young girl’s life.
