Help save Sprout

Hi, my name is Sprout’s mom, I adopted 6 month old Sprout on December 11, 2023 from a local rescue. He was vaccinated, neutered, and raised with care by his birth mom and foster mom.
Things started off great but one week later Sprout was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a rare and unpreventable, but curable, medical condition. This condition caused painful accumulation of fluid in his abdomen and chest.
On December 18th, he spent 8hrs at the emergency vet and had 0.5 liter of fluid drained from his tiny body. The local FIP community quickly rallied to help us navigate Sprout’s treatment plan.
It’s a rough road ahead but we believe Sprout deserves a chance to fight this disease! He requires 3 months of intensive treatment, after which he should live a long and healthy life. Without treatment, Sprout will die within 1-2 months.
Unfortunately, Sprout’s treatment has become very costly very quickly. I am seeking your support for Sprout’s FIP treatment, including daily medication, monthly bloodwork, and supportive care. Help us give Sprouty a fighting chance!
