JC Studios April 7th Fire

JC Studios had to close our doors at 143 Columbus due to a large fire on April 7. We are aiming to make this closure as temporary as possible -- however, we have lost our space and much of our equipment either to direct fire damage, or from smoke and water. We are thankful for the Jersey City Fire Department's quick action, and we will salvage what we can, however, we know many items are lost forever.
We do have insurance and are still working to determine how much we will be receiving and when, but in the meantime, we could use some assistance from our friends in the community.
All donations will go towards helping our staff, as well as storage and relocation costs. This includes replacement income for our staff, a storage unit, equipment repair and clean-up, new equipment, a new space, and moving costs.
We appreciate all the concern we’ve had this past week and are creating this in response to the many of you who have asked to help. JC Studios is more like a family than a business and we’re so privileged to have been a part of yours for over ten years now. Every purchase will go to making JC Studios bigger and better after this sudden tragedy.
