JC Landman - seizure free
Donation protected
The sweetest person you could ever get to meet. My younger brother JC Landman, has been suffering with seizures for the past 20 years. Gradually getting worse and medication no longer working, he finally has the chance to have a much needed surgery done to remove the part of the brain where the seizures are originating from. This will greatly improve his quality of life, allowing him to enjoy simple things like watching TV, going for walks on his own and playing computer games, things we take for granted.
Unfortunately this is going to be very costly, with him looking at a long recovery period and the medical aid only providing partial cover. We as a family are working together to do what we can but we are seriously lacking the funding to go this alone. With special thanks going out to wonder women Tanya (his beautiful girlfriend) and Mimi (our dearest mother) who have been looking after him and fighting his corner every step of the way.
Update as of 10/10/2019 - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to those that have donated, you have been a massive help covering JC's hospital stay. JC and Tanya are meeting with the neurologist and neurosurgeon next week, and the procedure will be explained then. Typically it is two weeks after that, when the surgery will take place. The Doctor doing the surgery and the anethetist are contracted out, so the medical aid only pay a portion, with a co-payment of R100k that the family will need to make to cover the shortfall. Therefore we are appealing for help, either by sharing JC's story far and wide or making a small contribution. Every little bit will make a huge difference.
If you can spare a few Euro, Rands, Pounds to help JC get the care he needs and deserves we would be forever grateful. With much love and thanks.
