My name is Isis, I am J.C.'s sister.
As many know, J.C. and I were very close. Like twins. We were Yin and Yang. An old married couple! She was my entire life, my greatest love, my closest friend and no one was above her. She was and always will be my beautiful sister.
J.C. had a brilliant wit with a dry sense of humor that made everyone laugh and even ponder the depth of what she was "joking" about. She was an extraordinary woman with many great talents and gifts.
Her love and dedication for dog rescue was unmatched by anyone. She did everything for those dogs. She had an innate skill for matching dogs to fur-ever homes. Every match she made was a success. Not one dog was returned to the shelter where she worked. And she was tireless in caring for all of her rescues.
J.C. was also a talented dancer. In her younger years she actually ran away with the circus on a whim! Who does that? JC did. She joined Ringling Bros. Barnum Bailey Red Unit 125th edition where she enjoyed riding her elephant "Baby" and danced in the ring.
When she danced, all eyes were on her magnetic smile. She had a special gift of attraction. Even if you sat in the back row, you could spot her glowing smile.
Later she joined me and our dance sisters in Belly Dancing where she quickly excelled. Her favorite was dancing with the veil. She had such grace that she literally transformed into a human butterfly. Her emotions set free in a flutter. I couldn't believe my eyes whenever I watched her. Nobody could. She was a magnet of glory and beauty. She was a magnet to all the lost animals. A magnet to people who needed friends. A magnet to all those who loved her. She was enigmatic. Indeed, a mystery. A mystery that all of us who knew her would try to solve but never could. And that was ok because it kept all of us coming back for more of her laughter, her smile, her long talks, her quirks, her...just her. Always wanting and loving J.C. No matter what.
So, if you had the fortune and honor of knowing (undoubtedly loving) J.C., I am asking for help in funds related to my beloved sister J.C.'s funeral and memorial services. Anything and everything is a blessing.
This is the greatest loss I will ever experience. I am sure others feel the same. J.C. will never be replaced. In our hearts and memories, she will reside forever.
Thank you kindly,
With Love~from Isis and J.C.
