Hello all! As December grows closer, so does our 3 year anniversary of living in Arusha, Tanzania. We can't believe how fast the time has flown by. In those three years this place has become home in every sense of the word. We have planted our roots here, built a community here, and don't anticipate leaving any time soon.
With that said, we would love to solidify our home even further. Some dear friends of ours are transitioning and moving back to the states at the beginning of October. During their 8 years in Tanzania they built a beautiful home for their family to live in. Now that they are moving back to the Staes they are needing to sell their house, and with beyond generous hearts, they have offered to sell it to us for $20,000 fully furnished! It's an amazing opportunity for us personally, as well as our ministry.
The house is located directly on YWAM's compound, as well as walking distance to the field we hold practice on every evening. The accessibility it would give us and our ministry is amazing. With buying the house we would also eliminate our monthly rent of $400/month, which would be an enormous financial relief as well. Not mentioning the amount we will be able to save in petrol. We can't let this amazing opportunity pass us by.
We are asking for your financial assistance as we move forward in purchasing this house. To buy a fully furnished, western-style, extremely safe house in Arusha (heck, anywhere in the world), for $20,000 is unheard of! We are excited to be planting our roots here in Tanzania even deeper.
