Funds for Fluffy

My family is not the type to ask for money. I had to beg to get permission to even set this up. That being said, our cat is very sick and in need of veterinary care as soon as possible. The extensive testing and possibly even surgery will cost us hundreds of dollars (up to $1000 or more) that we don’t have right now. My mom has a major surgery next month that all of our money is going towards. In any other circumstance, we would be able to get him the care he needs, but because of the upcoming surgery, we need help. Without the help of a vet, he will most likely die. I hate to ask for money, and this is an absolute last resort. I just want to help my kitty, and any help to do so would mean the world to us all.

Here are some pictures of him heathy vs how he is now, as some sort of evidence that he is legitimately ill and in need of help.

If he passes before we can reach our goal, any money we’ve received will go towards either getting him a stone, paying for anotherof our kitties’ medication, or my mom’s surgery next month. It will be put to good use even if he doesn’t make it. Thank you so much to everyone who contributes, truly.

UPDATE:
We raised enough to take him to the vet and we found out he has an upper respiratory infection! They’ve given him some antibiotics and he’s home and recovering. We were able to pay fully (we raised quite a bit through paypal as well) and we have enough left over to vaccinate him and the rest of my cats so this doesn’t ever happen again.
We dont need any more money (UPDATE: see below), we’ve raised more than enough, and we can never thank you all enough for your generosity and kindness. Thank you.

UPDATE #2!!
Sadly, he’s taken another turn for the worse. The fluids the vet gave him perked him up for a few hours but then he crashed even harder. We’ve been waiting for a few days for the antibiotics to kick in, and he’s been getting consistently worse. He’s going to need further medical care that we can’t afford, yet again. We’re likely taking him to an emergency vet within a day or two, which is extremely expensive. I’ll be reopening this for donations. I’m so sorry to ask for help yet again.

UPDATE #3:
He has been hospitalized at the MSU small animal clinic. He’s being kept for 2 days, maybe more, and we need to come up with $2000. I’m so sorry to continuously ask for more from you all, you’ve been so wonderful and helpful. Please only donate if you have the money to spare!!

Our goal is continuously rising, as we have no idea how long he’ll be hospitalized for. It’s been 2 nights and they’re still running many tests and they want to keep him even longer. We don’t know how much we’ll need at this point. Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal before, and for supporting us in raising the funds to save our Fluffy.
