Meet DENNIS HOUGH, 60-years-young.
DENNIS’ STORY–
At age 47, Dennis was faced with a deadly form of blood cancer. His survival depended on successful chemo, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant, but complications from that transplant destroyed his lungs. Again, Dennis fought to survive and made it through a lung transplant.
HOW DENNIS GAVE BACK–
For many years since his transplants despite shortness of breath and painful neuropathy, Dennis gave back by cheering others through their health issues.
He could be found in the cancer center waiting rooms with his therapy dog and a big smile. Dennis is a giver and cares deeply for others.
DENNIS TODAY –
Dennis is facing a long stay in the hospital. He is fighting painful neuropathy, a throat infection, and a potentially deadly virus.
Dennis' wife is taking a break from work to care for Dennis – the out-of-pocket medical insurance and hospital bills are piling up.
