My mum is disabled and hearing impaired but can lip reads and does sign language.

We live in North London with my mum and siblings Venisha 23 and Jaden 16.

About 8 months ago mum got sad news that she has kidney cancer and then it has travelled to her lungs.

4 months ago the hospital tried giving my mum experimental drugs trying to prolong her life but it didn’t work and was admitted back into hospital with heart failure.

My mum tries so hard to be-strong for us even though she was told she roughly had one year to live.

Sadly, mum was admitted back into hospital three days ago not breathing properly and her heart rate extremely high and they can’t reverse it and was told there’s nothing they can do.

I can’t imagine mum not being here seeing us grow up.

We have to rely on my dad who is also hearing impaired and has other severe health issues.

We never believed we would be put in this situation and never thought about that rainy day.

Funeral expenses are extremely expensive especially when you’re young and just starting out.

We are trying to raise money for mum’s funeral expenses and help me and my siblings through this sad time. We also have been told by the council that once mum passes we have to give up our home as our needs have changed. Imagine having to deal with that as well.

Quick update as of today mum is on highest level of morphine and has pneumonia and fluid on her lungs. They’re trying to keep her comfortable and not sure how long they can continue with this level of treatment.
