Johnna Dennis has spent the last 25 years of her life molding students into the fabric of Wimberley. She is ONE OF A KIND! Johnna is the type of person who ALWAYS looks out for others. Now is the time that we can give back to her!
Johnna was diagnosed with breast cancer in early November..... cancer was found in 2 of the 5 lymph notes on the right side (3 small tumors that totaled in 10mm in size.....the largest tumor was 6mm).
Johnna had a double masectomy in November.
She was completely honest with her students and to help them with the transisition...she got her hair cut in front of her 19 students (constantly thinking of others)!
Mid December was her first chemotherapy treatment and her second one was on January 3rd.
Through all the trials and tribulations Johnna has endured, her FAITH is STRONG! #JBDstrong
Her attitude never ceases to amaze me!
There are many expenses along the way and many that were not expected. Additionally insurance is denying some of her claims.
