My son has been in nicu since he was born on Tuesday, at 3:47 pm. He was born with a case of reverse diabetes and his body was producing too much insulin and not enough sugar. He is also 33 weeks old when the doctors insisted he was 36 to 37 weeks old judging via ultra sound hie lungs couldnt perform on thier own. After he went silent in the operating room they acted quickly and threw him on cpap and the machine started breathing for him. He was then placed on iv sugar bags and had a feeding tube installed thru his nose. He weighs 4 pounds currently and still has the feeding tube connected. He eventually was taken off cpapa when his o2 levels hit 100 on average. He is still trying to figure out how to eat via bottle as hes so yound and tiny. Crystal was discharged last night, and will be staying nights at the hospotal while i work during the day. After about 20 trips to and from hospital work grandmas for the last five days I have spent over 200$ in gas alone. Unfortunately I’m running low on gas and really need to see the baby and be there for the baby. I get paid in 4 days on Wednesday, if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. We’ve just been running ragged for days and it bled me dry. Feel free to private message me or whatnot, it shakes me to even reach out but I don’t know what else to do..
