Emergency Baby Fund - Maternity Leave

After much debate, discussion and struggling on our own it’s time to ask for help.
As we prepare for Ruth’s arrival we are faced with the reality that we aren’t ready!!!
My goal was to work all the way to the end and try to squirrel away as much funds as we can.
My job doesn’t offer any maternity leave so the gap in income will be huge.
This pregnancy is considered “high risk” from the start due to my age and previous losses.
I was recently diagnosed with hypertension and possibly developing preeclampsia.
Ruth’s original due date was January 10th.
Then we got news she would be a week early to ensure she was going to be healthy.
Now that date has changed once again and we are living in a bit of a guessing game. The doctor said “the goal is to get her to 37 weeks but she could come as early as 34 weeks”. For those who are counting, that’s NEXT WEEK!! Or before Christmas.
With this news and change, it’s not realistic that our financial situation will sustain itself.
Any help that you can provide would mean the world to us. We want to give Ruth the best start in life and show her how much love and support she has surrounding her.
