Friends, family and neighbors...Brett Heilman was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired police officer. He was medically retired after 17 years after being injured on duty. Years later, he continued to struggle with daily physical pain and PTSD from his years of service. He spent his entire life serving his country and people. Brett took his own life on June 18, 2020. His wife, Stephanie, is struggling through the pain of losing him so tragically and the financial burdens that are now placed solely on her shoulders. In addition, she is unable to receive life insurance benefits due to the nature of his passing.
