My father's medical bill

As a first generation Asian American in my family, some family responsibilities are expected of me. As an only child, I carry the responsibilities of the well-being of my mother and father alone as both my parents age. Stress is real in a time like this.

My parents own their own business for the last 25 years, which hasn't been profitting since 1997. I grew up experiencing financial struggles and seeing the stress that comes with owning their own business. Everything is strained. Their marriage, all of our relationships with each other. However, we are still a family that tries to keep it together. As I've become independent and now married with a child of my own, their progress in aging is even more evident.

My father, who has always worked hard to provide for our family, suffered from a heart attack in August 2015.
Almost losing his life three times in the operating room, a wonderful cardiologist was able to save him. He made it through just barely. Now he's on the speedy road to recovery. He is not physically able to continue working at his business so income is scarce. As for my mother,  she felt real grief as she just lost her own mother in May 2015 and was so close to also losing her husband.

My husband and I have already tried to pull our resources and money together to try to keep them afloat in terms of their living expenses and keeping their home. We have now even rented out our own property in order to move back in with my parents to pay for their mortage. The business has been tanking but we have not been putting any money into it. All the money we have has been dedicated to being able to survive and stay off the streets. Luckily in this time of terror, our $87,000.00 hospital bill is covered with insurance but we are definitly struggling to even come up with the $6,000.00 deducatable. We also have some insurance bills that is due at the end of the year in which we are scrambling for. My husband and I have a 2 year old. We are happy he is able to see his grandparents daily but as for our finances we did not expect to add two adults into our budget.

I'm begging for help  from anyone who is willing to help! I am a loving daughter, a thankful wife to a very understanding man, and a hard working mother who tries to provide for our whole family. My husband is absolutely wonderful but I am also in fear of the type of strain and stress this arrangement will place on my marriage. Recieving some financial help would be a huge relief for all of us. We would definitly pay forward when we have a footing in our situation.

A million thank yous!!!!!!
