JazzUAid

we, shevchenko.philia, plan to organize JazzUAId (Jazz Night Fundraiser). this time, we want to raise even more funds to help Ukrainians who need reconstructive surgery, prosthetic limbs and ptsd-therapy, so that is why we really need your help!

our organization is a part of the Cross Party Group on Ukraine in the Scottish Parliament. we are a small team driven by passion, creative ideas and love for Ukrainian culture: we are organising events to increase awareness about Ukrainian culture and Ukraine itself, connect Ukrainians with Scottish people through art, and break the stigmas around Ukrainian refugees abroad. we are a 100% non-profit organization, and all the donations from our events support diverse Ukrainian charities.

our last major music event was held in August 2024, and since then, we have struggled to bring our ideas to life. however, we are working day and night to create engaging events, promote them, and continue helping people affected by the war in Ukraine. pretty soon, we are going to announce our next music night, JazzUAid Night. although, to do so, we will need to be sure that we can afford such a night. 

the expenses for the event are the venue hire fee, printing of promo materials, and traveling expenses for the artists. our plan is to cover these through a gofundme fundraiser and raise money through event tickets and merch sales for a donation to the Superhumans Centre in Ukraine. the centre is a charity that gives people new life with therapy, surgeries, and prosthetic limbs after their lives were affected by the cruelty of war. 

with your help, we will be able to promote the event successfully, bring the Ukrainian community together once again for the benefit of people affected by war, spread the Ukrainian spirit once again, and connect people with Ukraine! 

we are aware of the impact that our cultural events bring to the Ukrainian community in Scotland, and we hope that we are helping people to resonate with Ukrainians even more with each event ❤️
