It's what made the very 1st All Contemporary (smooth) Jazz
Festival possible, advertising the 1987 Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival nation-wide.
When the dollars dropped out of smooth jazz radio round 2011, the success of the Catalina Festival enabled JazzTrax Radio to continue. What got the other started now helped the former continue. 2020's pandemic by law in California decreed No Music Festivals or large events. Thus JazzTrax has no income this entire year until hopefully it's world reknowned Island Festival renews for it's 34th annual, Oct. 2021.
For those who love our 5 hour weekly showcase of the absolute newest and classic old in Smooth Jazzdom, now into it's 36th year, we're asking for help, just to cover 'Hard Costs' to keep this show on the nation's airwaves. We aren't interested in profit at this point, just the ability to pay the hard costs in a year where JazzTrax had to postpone it's festival to next year due to Covid19.
Art Good created the West Coast Smooth Jazz Sound in 1982,
KIFM's 'Lites Out San Diego' which exploded to other stations
and generated countless smooth jazz festivals nation-wide over the next 25 years. Donating to help pay this legendary radio show's streaming and basic hard costs will keep Art producing his 35 year long show into the future. He's not ready to quit yet.
Simply asking for some dollars help to keep JazzTrax on the nation's airwaves ..... and Thanks.
