My name is Anna Bautista. I am a Home Care Aide in California and a mother to my daughter Janine. I am reaching out today to ask for your help as I launch a GoFundMe to raise $2,000 for the medical treatment of my daughter’s best friend Jazzmynn Sajonia. She is 24 years old and is battling with mental health issues. My daughter Janine accompanied her to see a psychiatrist (10/4/2025 - Philippines date and time) and her diagnosis is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) with psychotic features, severe depression, anxiety, and seizures. She is dehydrated as she doesn’t eat much and does not drink water. She was admitted to the hospital, did a complete bloodwork, and received IV fluids. She was discharged the same day as there was no available room at the hospital and will continue medication at home for the time being.

Jazzmynn was a smart, bubbly girl and full of life until her mental health issues started in 2020. She had to stop studying as she gets overwhelmed with everything and it affects her daily life, but her family does not have enough money to send her to the doctor to get checked. I have been helping her here and there but I cannot shoulder all her medical expenses as I have a family to take care of as well.

This cause is very important to me because Jazzmynn and my daughter have been best friends since they were in high school. Jazzmynn is like a sister to my daughter Janine and she is like a daughter to me. I want her to go back to her normal happy self and be able to go back to school and do the things she loves.
