Help Me Get to Portugal – One Step Closer to My Dream

Hey everyone, my name is Jazmyn Kellogg. Basketball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve poured everything I have into this game, through the ups and downs, injuries, tough seasons, and moments where I questioned if I could keep going. But no matter what, I’ve always come back to it.

Basketball has been more than just a sport for me, it’s been my therapy, my escape, my safe space, and the reason I’ve pushed through some of the hardest times in my life. I’ve worked so hard to get here, and I’m not ready for my basketball journey to end. I know I still have so much more to give, and this opportunity could be the one thing that helps me take that next step.

I’ve spent years competing at the university level, coaching club teams, training young athletes, and doing everything I can to grow both as a player and a person. Now, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity as I’ve been invited to an ID Showcase Camp in Portugal.

This camp gives me the chance to prove myself, to train, compete, and be seen by overseas scouts. It’s a shot at taking my game to the next level and pursuing a professional career in basketball. I’m not ready for my basketball journey to end and I know there’s more ahead for me, and this could be the opportunity that changes everything.

But I cant do it alone.

I need your help to make it happen. Between flights, camp fees, accommodations, and travel expenses, the total cost of this opportunity is more than I can cover on my own. I’m trying to raise $4,000 USD (which is about $5,548 CAD) to get to Portugal and make this happen. I’ve never been the type to ask for help, but someone told me that if I truly believe in myself and my dream, I have to be willing to bet on myself and ask for support.
