4Jazzy,

This morning at 6:45 AM, Monday 10/24/2016 Geo's daughter Jazmine Marin was struck by a car and tragically died from her injuries. When death comes to a family we are usually pacified by saying well they lived a long life, or it is better since they were so sick. But what does one say when a child is taken from a parent, a friend a family. It is way too early to say good bye. Words spoken, felt or even thought, cannot be said that will explain how this can happen.

Many of you know Geo and knew that Jazzy was his life. How a parent can move forward, wake up the next day or just feel after such a tragedy is unknown. All we can do is offer a shoulder for him to cry on, an ear to listen, a smile to bring back a memory of a time much better. Will it help? What can we do? Why? Just ask why? It is not comprehendible nor can I or anyone explain to us why this has happened. Maybe we can take solace in the thought that Jazzy is now reunited with her mother. Maybe we can just say God had another plan for her a plan we can never understand but a plan indeed.

Geo may God bless you and look over you this is not going to be easy but know your friends, family and myself are here for you.

Money will not bring Jazzy back to us however as a family I am asking that you reach deep into your pockets and contribute anything you can to help with the expenses Geo is now forced to face.

l'll Lend you a Child

I will lend you, for a little time,
A child of mine, he said.
For you to love the while she lives,
And mourn for when shes dead.

It may be six or seven years,
Or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back,
Take care of her for Me?

Shell bring her charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief.
Youll have her lovely memories,
As solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there,
I want this child to learn.

Ive looked the wide world over,
In search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd lifes lanes
I have selected you.

Now will you give her all your love,
Nor think the labour vain.
Nor hate me when I come
To take her home again?

I fancied that I heard them say,
Dear Lord, Thy will be done!
For all the joys Thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief well run.

Well shelter her with tenderness,
Well love her while we may,
And for happiness weve known,
Forever grateful stay.

But should the angels call for her,
Much sooner than we planned.
Well brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand.
