#JazlynStrong: Jazlyn's Second Battle with Cancer
Donation protected
In January 2021, our family’s world was turned upside down when my sister, Jazlyn, was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in her right arm. At just 8 years old, she faced this terrifying diagnosis with a strength beyond her years.
For nine long months, Jazlyn fought through chemotherapy, radiation, and countless hospital visits until finally, in September of 2021, she rang the bell and was declared cancer-free.
We celebrated her strength, her courage, and her return to the life every kid deserves.
But on April 5, 2025, our hearts sank again. Jazlyn has relapsed, and the Ewing sarcoma is back, this time in the form of a mass in her lower back. Once again, she’s stepping into battle mode; brave, determined, and ready to fight. Chemo has already started, and she's doing what she does best: being a superhero in the face of adversity.
We’ve been here before, and we know how hard the road ahead is, not just physically and emotionally, but financially. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your help.
My parents are doing everything they can to support Jazlyn through treatment, but the burden is heavy. My dad works in construction, and as many know, that kind of work doesn’t come with stability or paid time off. My mom is using up her PTO as quickly as possible to stay by Jazlyn’s side during her 5–6 day hospital stays, but that time is limited and once it’s gone, so is the income that helps keep everything afloat.
This GoFundMe is to help my parents with bills, copayments, gas for hospital trips, and any unexpected expenses that come with this battle. The last thing they need to worry about is money when their focus should be on Jazlyn’s health and healing.
Every donation, big or small, means the world to us. Whether you give, share, or send prayers and good thoughts, we are deeply grateful.
Thank you for standing with us and with Jazlyn as she fights this battle once again. Together we are #JazlynStrong.
With love and hope,
