My heart is heavy as I find the words to write... my beautiful, young, vibrant niece Jazlynn was recently diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. Today she is having surgery to have her thyroid and a small portion of her lymph nodes removed. We will need to wait for the pathology results to see if the cancer has spread into her lymphatic system and what her long term treatment will consist of. Having so many appointments has depleted her PTO, which she now doesn’t have enough to cover the 2 weeks she needs to recover from this surgery.

The medical expenses already endured with just the doctor visits/diagnostic exams have been high already and her medical insurance only covers a portion of the expenses needed to ensure she gets everything she needs on her road to recovery. Any amount you can donate would be extremely appreciated and beyond helpful.
