Jazlin Ceecee N. Xiong

It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic passing of a dear friend and colleague, Linda’s little girl, Jazlin. On Christmas Eve, while Jazlin was playing with her siblings/cousins, she fell on her knee. The following days, she limped a little from the fall with no other signs of injury. Christmas came and went, and Jazlin began to feel intense pain so Linda took her to get checked. Her doctor ran x-rays. Nothing was found broken, results negative. Jazlin was losing her appetite and the pain did not seem to cease so Linda took her to Children’s North. Everything following happened in a blink of an eye. They were immediately transported by helicopter to Children’s Aurora. Tragically, the fall caused the bad bacteria in her little body to enter her bloodstream resulting in septic shock. By the time she reached the hospital, her kidneys were shutting down. Jazlin Ceecee N. Xiong passed on New Year’s Eve leaving behind her mother Linda Vang, father Yer, and 3 siblings Justin (10), Zachary (5) and Adalin (2). Jazlin was only 7 years old and will be dearly missed.

Jazlin’s mother, Linda Vang, is a colleague to many at Medtronic. I put together this gofundme along with many colleagues who have reached out to ask how they can pour out love and support for Linda and her family. We hope this fund would allow Linda and her family to pay for expenses as they put sweet Jazlin to rest.
