Many of you already know me, and if you do, then you know asking for help is something I almost never do. I believe in earning what you want and taking care of what you got, and that is why I work full-time despite my disability. I’ve always managed to take care of my wife and myself without asking anyone for anything, but
recent events have left me with little choice.
A few days ago, I was in a car accident that totaled my vehicle. Without transportation, I’m at risk of losing my job at Taco Bell, which is our only steady income. My wife is in the critical stages of COPD and is unable to work, and her health depends on us maintaining a stable home. We were forced out of our longtime apartment about a year ago, and our rent has nearly doubled. Even though we struggle, we don’t qualify for assistance because I work full-time.
I’m asking for help to get another vehicle so I can keep working and keep us from becoming homeless. Anything you can spare, even just sharing this post, means more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
