When my best friend, Jasmine, called to tell me that she’d just been diagnosed with leukaemia, well, there‘s no words to describe it. But after a few days, I realised I had to do a 180 turn on this feeling of helplessness, and replace it with some kick ass determination. 

So, on Saturday 15th August I will be running half a marathon for the strongest person I know; my FFFBFF, Snazzy Jazzy.

I’ve always liked running, however adding 10 miles to my typical 3 mile route, feels like quite the challenge!! And so, with a little help from anyone who can throw a donation our way, you will motivate my fat ass to get out & get training!

The money raised from "Jaz’s Pot of Gold" will first go towards getting Jazzy the hottest wig in town (however as you can see from the AMAZING amount we've already raised, we've got that covered). So I thought, lets go one step further and give Jaz something to look forward to, be it a day out, a "staycation" or even a holiday, both in-between and after treatment.

Because this isn't the first time Jaz has been through this.

When Jaz was just 14, she was diagnosed with leukaemia. So, since this is the second time this badass friend of mine has gone through this, she knows better than most that half the fight against cancer is a mental battle.  

That's why, with your help, we can give her hope.

Hope for happier days in the future. And since, like most of you, Jaz is a big fan of a holiday - lets bloody give her one!!! However unfortunately, having had cancer twice before the age of 30, holiday insurance is out the roof. That's why any donation, be it big or small, is beyond appreciated and truly cannot go to someone more deserving. Because after every storm that life throws at us, there’s a pot of gold waiting at the end of the rainbow!
