I am Meeka, a 5-year old female American Eskimo mix/former rescue puppy, and I have an important message to share with you about this new GoFundMe page established for Jay Wade, my good furr-ever friend and groomer.



Jay is proprietor of Dogs & Cats by Jay, where every pet is special. His devoted clientele aren’t able to fully articulate their appreciation to their equally devoted groomer beyond a loving bark or meow; but their friends and family can join to help him in a time of need.

The 56-year old Johnstown resident and Loveland, Colorado business owner was recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer and is now only able to work part-time. His resolve to overcome this adversity carried him through weeks of chemotherapy, soon to be followed by radiation treatment.

Update: Jay has undergone his first radiation treatment, which has tapped his strength, but not his resolve.
