Hi everyone. My name is Brett Whitacre, and I've been a friend/on and off bandmate of Mole's for almost 20 years now. I know there are many of you that have grown up with him, or maybe you're just an acquaintance, but regardless he is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He's also not one to complain or ask for help which is exactly why I'm setting this up for him. He's definitely had some health issues and other scares over the years but just recently found out he has to go in for an extremely intricate and dangerous surgery. So dangerous in fact that several local doctors refused to perform it, so they are flying in a surgeon from the Mayo Clinic. This surgery is going to prevent him from working for at least a couple of months until he gets back on his feet. His only income is what he brings in as a hair stylist, so not working is going to create some financial burdens(on top of medical expenses) that he shouldn't have to bear all on his own. The surgery will be stressful enough for him, so my goal is to raise enough money so he doesn't also have to stress about paying his bills for the next couple of months. Anything above and beyond that would just be a bonus that will help with the medical part of this. That way he can focus on recovery and getting back on his feet.
