Jayson Arnold Fundraiser
My cousin, Jayson Arnold, was in a work related accident on Wednesday June 10th. While using a table saw he cut off the thumb and two fingers from his right hand. He was rushed to the hospital and endured 8 hours of surgery. The doctors were able to reattach his thumb and middle finger, unfortunately losing his ring finger permanently. As of today he is still in the ICU, hoping to be moved to a hospital room soon. He was told he may not be able to return to work for at least 4 to 6 months. Though he is receiving minimal income from workers' comp, it is insufficient to cover his living expenses. In addition, he will require physical therapy at the hospital for 3 - 4 months, which is an hour drive from his home. A second surgery is to be scheduled in 8 weeks to hopefully give him the ability to bend his fingers. He may not have full mobility for about 12 months.
