On July 1st at 1:00 am, Jayson and Julie Samples were awakened by their teenage daughter Jenna and told that their home was on fire. They both sprang into quick action getting Jenna, their two younger children, and family pets out of the home to safety. With the Fire Department alerted, they awaited emergency help. Unfortunately, the Fire Department took nearly an hour to arrive, leaving the family to helplessly watch their home of 7 years and everything they own burn to the ground! They were heartbroken to later discover that their family dog, Rambo, and cat, Hunter, had run back into the home and were unable to be rescued in time. To add to this tragedy, they did not have insurance on the home due to repairs and updates needing to be made prior to obtaining insurance. 

Although shell-shocked, Jayson and Julie are incredibly grateful to God and Jenna's quick action in saving their lives. Just a 45 second delay would have resulted in even more devastating circumstances.

While no amount of money can replace the lives of their beloved pets, let's show some love to this family, as their home and contents were completely destroyed.

Jayson and Julie are two amazing individuals, frequently sacrificing their own resources to help others.
