Jayse Petten’s STEM-CELL Transplant
Donation protected
Jayse was diagnosed with a rare progressive disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy when he was just 3 years old. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness due to the alterations of a protein called dystrophin that helps keep muscle cells intact.
Because of this disease, Jayse fights every single day to maintain mobility, strength and ultimately any sort of an active lifestyle.
Until recently, there have been no medical procedures that aid in the slowing of the regression or in muscle repair or growth… but now there is help. Help in the form of STEM-CELL therapy.
Jayse has been approved and accepted to receive a transplant, which we are so excited about. However, the transplant is to take place on April 15…. Yep! 2 Weeks.
As you can figure, this procedure will come at a cost and we are reaching out to our community for help. We are in search of $30,000. This cost will go towards the procedure itself , travel and lodging ( Lyndon, Skye and Jayse) and will also greatly help with at home cost as Lyndon will be away from work for nearly 2 weeks.
We have been praying for a miracle of any sort over the last 5 years and we now believe that this is one of the avenues where we will see our boy one day live a strong and healthy life.
Please consider joining us on this journey. Any donation, big or small will be appreciated.
On behalf of Lyndon, Skye, Shekinah, Lukas and especially Jayse ;
Thank You
