Three organs. One life. One miracle we are praying for.
At just 42 years old, Jay is fighting for his life.
After years of battling advanced heart failure due to cardiomyopathy, Jay became critically ill on June 29 and was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital after experiencing cardiogenic shock, which led to organ failure. Since then, he has spent weeks in the intensive care unit undergoing dialysis, countless procedures, blood transfusions, treatment for bleeding complications, and around-the-clock medical care. Through every setback and challenge, Jay has continued to fight with incredible strength and determination.
Jay is currently being kept alive by life-saving support measures, including ECMO, CRRT, and an Impella LVAD device, as he waits for a matching donor for a heart, liver, and kidney transplant. He has been placed on the transplant list for all three organs, and we continue to pray for the miracle of a donor and the opportunity for Jay to begin a new chapter of life.
Jay is a devoted husband, a loving father to our son Noah, and a cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and loyal friend. Standing at 6’7”, Jay has always been a presence that people noticed, but it is his kindness, compassion, and faith that truly define him. He is a dedicated security officer who has spent his career protecting others and a passionate singer who uses his gift to encourage, inspire, and glorify God. Jay’s heart for others and his unwavering faith have remained strong even through the darkest moments of this journey.
Now, Jay needs a community to stand with him.
As we wait and pray for a matching donor, we are also facing the overwhelming financial burden that comes with a triple-organ transplant, a prolonged hospital stay, and the long road to recovery ahead. Every donation will help ease that burden and allow our family to focus on what matters most — giving Jay every opportunity to heal and return home to the people who love him.
Thank you for standing with Jay, believing in miracles, and helping us fight for his future.
