In Loving Memory of Jay Dutcher - Funeral Fundraiser

Please help us honor our dad's wishes and bring him home the way he deserves. Jay was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had spread to the liver the week before Christmas. He was given the option of chemo or hospice. Unfortunately, he never got to make that decision. The week after Christmas, he was diagnosed with influenza A, and then pneumonia, and hospitalized twice. He is currently putting up a hell of a fight at Mercy. His mind is still so sharp, yet his body is declining quite quickly.

All Jay wanted before he left us was to make sure his kids didn't have the burden of his burial on their plate. He even made an appointment for the funeral home, yet had to cancel it because of his illness.

It all happened way too fast and this is not the way it was supposed to go.

The guy that has ALWAYS been available to help anyone out now needs our help.

Jay is an amazing father and grandfather and would do anything for any of us. We now want to be able to honor him.
