I left an abusive marriage with no financial support at 109lbs; having fully relapsed in Anorexia while married to him.

My phone was then cut and I did not have the means to file my necessary paperwork for my temporary EDD Disability; however despite not receiving benefits since November and listed as ending my benefits in January, I cannot even receive food stamps while I am still technically enrolled in EDD. I have been to the offices and they cannot get me in contact with the Disability department.

My ex has refused any cooperation, even just to file, and is forcing me, despite being housing insecure and without consistent transportation to take him in front of a judge. He knows fully my housing, health, and financial situation. His apathy towards my suffering and lack of interest in his husbandly duties was an inflection point that led to the rapid decay, escalation into further abuse, and my eventual leaving.

The funds will go to housing, groceries, and finding a lawyer. I’m still in the business of gaining weight, and so the ability to get food without stressing is a huge priority.
