My daughter was an aspiring model who had a dream to be on a billboard some day. On September 19, 2012 at the age of 28 she died of a drug overdose. In recognition of August being National Drug Overdose Awareness month, I would like to make Jayna’s dream come true and make people realize how opiates can be the end of your dreams and your life. I want to honor my daughter by having her beautiful face on a billboard in her home town of Yonkers, NY, where she had many friends, family and neighbors who loved her dearly. The caption would read
“MY DREAM WAS TO BE ON A BILLBOARD.....
.... I DIDN’T KNOW I WOULD DIE BEFORE IT WOULD COME TRUE “

I have four reasons to pursue the ability to rent a billboard for at least six months...
# 1. To honor my daughter’s dream
# 2. To make people aware of the consequences of opiate addiction
# 3. To keep my daughter’s memory alive by having her life make a difference in saving other lives, and
#4. To advertise an Addiction hotline on the billboard
