Jayna’s Road to Recovery

Hi everyone,

We’ve set up this GoFundMe to support our fearless captain, Jayna Fraser, from Charlestown Azzurri, who suffered a devastating and season ending injury during the State Cup Final on July 13th, 2025.

In the heat of the game, Jayna suffered a devastating injury – a ruptured ACL, torn MPFL, patella displacement, and severe bone bruising, all from one tackle. It was a moment none of us were prepared for and are still struggling to come to terms with.

Jayna is more than just an incredible footballer. She’s one of the kindest, most genuine footballers to ever step on the pitch, and she is just as incredible off it.

She leads with grace, plays with passion, and gives her whole heart to this game, her team, and every person lucky enough to know her. Jayna is not just a leader on the pitch, she is the heart and soul of our squad. Her dedication, passion, and relentless drive inspire us all, so now it's our turn to show up for her.

Jayna will require surgery, extensive physiotherapy, and ongoing rehabilitation. These come at a significant out of pocket cost, and we’d love to ease some of the financial burden so she can focus fully on healing and getting back to doing what she loves.
