Jayme Goss Medical and Recovery Fund

As many of you have seen through recent social media updates by Danielle, Jayme has been facing a serious battle with Crohn's disease.
Crohn’s is an chronic inflammatory condition that affects the digestive system, also known as an IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). It is an auto-immune disease which means the immune system mounts an inflammatory response against itself. Crohn's symptoms can be pretty wide ranging, complex and difficult to live with. Treatments often involve serious drugs and surgery.
Jayme was diagnosed with Crohn's when he was only 19 years old. Over the past 8 months he has been hospitalized 5 times for a reoccurring issue. One medication he has been taking for the past 7 years and another medication he has been taking for 12 years have essentially been killing him. His Stanford doctors believe this could have be fatal in the next few months if he had continued the path he was on.
With recent changes in his condition, Jayme has been hospitalized at Stanford for further testing, upcoming surgery, and hopefully some relief! Jayme is incredibly strong, but he has a very long road to recovery. The uncertainty of what expenses this hospitalization and upcoming surgery will bring is daunting for anyone, especially a young, newly married couple.
This page has been started to help offset some of the financial hardship they will face in the upcoming months. All funds received will go directly to Jayme in one way or another, whether it be to cover medical expenses, food, housing for his family/spouse who have traveled and missed work to be by his side, etc.
We appreciate all of your donations and are incredibly thankful for all the support!
